"The last day of summer is synonymous with the end of something beautiful as well as the start of something new. As children, the last day of summer meant the end of freedom and the beginning of school. As an adult we see summer as the changing of the seasons. Fall brings with it crisp air and the layering of more clothing onto our bodies. We must embrace the freedom of summer until it's very end. I wanted to capture the feeling of introspection as one submits to change with one last day of unadulterated freedom. To both physically and emotionally cast off the layers we have,
shedding the old and preparing for the new"
